January 17th - 22nd, 2022
La Fortuna, Costa Rica
How it began…
“I went to Costa Rica and I saw those kids and I immediately knew I needed to raise money for them to have good water… They were tugging at the water and saying “Tia, Agua… Tia, Agua”. How can I be okay with a child begging for water and me not providing that need? That’s not okay for me. So I said, “Julie, we need to do more. We need to create the retreat for UNILLOVE. And we immediately took action. Imagine the ripple in this planet — If people were so connected to nature, and self, and the all, that they create something even better than I was able to. That’s the goal.” - Luisa Crane
When interacting with the kids, remember…
Creating natural bonds come before starting educational classes. We want to respect the culture and let the kids organically accommodate to our presence. The first connection with the children is established through games and by teaching the teachers during Phase 1 of the program on site.

Creator + Founder of UNILLOVE
Julie was born in Paris, France and at the age of 18 left to Santa Barbara, California- to study International business and Finance, where she stayed for 5 years.
After the loss of her family at the age of 20, she decided to go to India, where she discovered the healing Power of Yoga, and the Union of the body, mind and spirit. She trained to become a Yoga teacher in Goa and then continued with Yoga Therapy Training in San Diego, California.
Being an only child, she felt the calling to share her love for life, yoga & natural medicine with orphans around the world. By understanding the power of energy and community, she decided to create a program that can give the opportunity for all to give back for generations to come : UNILLOVE was born.
Her mission is to share the UNILLOVE program around the world, though implementing holistic practices in orphanages / schools and teaching teachers to do the same. As she likes to say “May we can all realize our dreams, find inner balance, and help others to do the same.”
